Clean, poised and light. This artificial iris rises on a straight botanical stem with one open flower at the tip. Three outer segments spread to a clear lavender purple that blooms into a soft flare of butter yellow falls near the throat, the colour cooling to misty tones. The inner segments stand upright in pale lilac and clear white, adding air and depth. A side branch carries a half-closed bud so the line reads from promise to bloom with measured rhythm. Paired sheath bracts trim the base of the head for a neat transition. Long, sword-shaped leaves draw close to the stem and lift the profile so the silhouette stays tall and assured.

Design notes
Set the stem in pale stoneware for daylight softness, a frosted lilac glass tube for tone on tone ease or a matte pewter vase to cool the palette. With cloud, pebble and mushroom the lavender reads serene. Beside lilac, periwinkle and soft blue it settles into a gentle harmony. Against mustard, forest green and charcoal it takes a refined graphic edge. Pair with roses, hydrangea, calla lily and gladiolus to complete line and mass.
