Eucalyptus Pods — Lichen Olive

This artificial eucalyptus pod branch comes in Lichen Olive, with an ash grey tint around the pod rims. Rounded pods gather in uneven clusters along the branching stems. A powdery finish covers the pods, while the varied pod sizes give the branch an irregular outline that reflects the natural growth of eucalyptus pods.

For a single branch, use a small vase with a broad base and keep one lower cluster close to the rim. The low, stable shape balances the upright branch and creates a compact modern foliage display. When combining it with fuller flowers, insert the branch between the main blooms and bring selected clusters through the gaps. Let the upper clusters extend beyond the flower heads.

Design notes

A smoked graphite glass vase places the olive pods against a cool dark surface. Charcoal stoneware continues the ash grey found around the pod rims. A concrete cylinder vase gives the branch a pale mineral background.

Pair Lichen Olive with oyster, putty or limestone for a muted neutral palette. Sage, olive and forest green continue the green colour range. Cinnabar red, persimmon and deep indigo introduce stronger colour beside the pods.

Place protea lower in the arrangement as the main flower, then carry the eucalyptus pods above and between the larger heads. Leucadendron can extend the outer shape with firmer foliage. Roses fill the middle of the arrangement with wider blooms, while heliconia brings narrow bracts through the open spaces.
