Hydrangea — After Rain Blue White

This artificial hydrangea presents a rounded head of nice shaped cluster that closes into a calm sphere. Rising at the centre and unfurling at the rim, the entire cluster breathes in quiet undulations, each wave fine and even. The colour reads like sky after rain, soft blue washing into clean white with faint cloud shadows near the folds. At every heart, four tiny beads in the same tone gather like a quiet cluster. Two broad ovate leaves sit beneath the bloom with tidy teeth along the margin, set opposite to form a steady tray that helps steady the cluster. The botanical stem is slender and clean with a low node and a light fork near the tip. The mood is clear, rested and composed, an easy round focal on its own or a quiet anchor inside a larger work.

Design notes
Seat the head in pale celadon for a misty echo, brushed aluminium for cool light or a sandstone trough for natural texture. With cloud, pebble and soft silver the blue white reads fresh and rested. Beside powder blue, slate and soft lilac it settles into a gentle tonal run. Against marigold, olive and charcoal it gives clear modern contrast.
