Zen Lotus Bloom — Lotus Pink

This artificial lotus bloom comes in Lotus Pink. Layers of petals form a broad open cup. The outer petals rise around the flower, the middle layer shapes the inner cup, and the innermost petals gather around the centre. A fine ridged texture runs from the base to the tip of each petal, similar to the natural surface of a fresh lotus petal.

A raised green seed pod sits at the heart of the bloom, surrounded by yellow filaments, each tipped with a small saffron coloured node.

Use one stem in a low or medium height vase where the open flower can sit above the rim. Pair it with lotus buds, seed pods or broad lotus leaves for a fuller arrangement.

Design notes

A blush porcelain pot continues the pink tones. A smoked plum glass cylinder places the bloom against a darker surface. A honed limestone pot introduces a pale stone finish beneath the flower.

For a neutral palette, pair Lotus Pink with ivory, sand or biscuit. Rosewater, petal pink and soft coral continue the pink colour range. Deep olive, teal and midnight blue provide stronger contrast.

Pair the open bloom with a lotus bud to show two stages of the flower. A lotus seed pod introduces a firmer rounded form at the centre of the arrangement. Broad lotus leaves can sit lower around the stems and separate the pink flowers from the vessel.
