Leucospermum — Fresh Mint

Fresh mint leucospermum, an airy crown above matte leaves with a powder finish.

This artificial leucospermum forms a full rounded head of fine curved filaments, with the tips spaced so the bloom looks lively, not rigid. The crown opens outward, giving an uncluttered silhouette and a strong sense of movement. Colour sits in fresh mint green, cooler at the outer tips, deeper toward the centre, so it reads crisp in daylight and richer under lamplight. A small seed detail sits near the upper stem, adding a natural focal accent. Leaves are thick and oval with a soft matte surface, finished with a faint white powdering that lifts the texture and makes the green feel more realistic. Shown alone, it suits a narrow cylinder on a desk, a bookshelf, or an entry console. Used in multiples, it becomes a textured green cloud for a low bowl arrangement or a centrepiece with modern presence.

Design notes
Seat the stem in a clear glass cylinder to keep the mint tone bright, in pale travertine to echo the powder finish on the leaves, or in charcoal ceramic to sharpen the outline and add contrast. With ivory, warm sand and stone grey it reads tailored and restrained, with sage, celadon and soft olive it turns tonal and botanical, against oxblood, deep plum and ink black it lands as a clean contrast. Pair with Rodriguezia lanceolata to add fine line movement and branching rhythm, add clivia for wider petal forms and a stronger vintage note, or introduce eucalyptus to repeat the powder finish and build depth through layered greens.
