Pot Suitable Cymbidium Orchid — Burnished Persimmon

This pot suitable artificial Cymbidium orchid comes in Burnished Persimmon. The petals carry a warm persimmon orange tone, with creamy throats and clove red around the lips. Multiple flower spikes rise through long strap shaped leaves, with tight buds towards the tips and open cupped blooms below. Deep and soft green leaves overlap around the base.

Flexible aerial root details sit beneath the leaves for planter styling. Pot not included.

For a single piece, place it in a medium planter and keep the lower leaves close to the rim. Spread the leaves in different directions and turn the open flowers towards the main viewing side. Cover the base with moss or river pebbles while leaving some of the aerial roots visible.

When using several pieces in one planter, stagger the height and direction of the flower spikes so the blooms do not sit in one flat row. Fan the leaves through the centre and sides to create a fuller potted orchid display. You can repeat Burnished Persimmon throughout the planter or combine it with other Cymbidium colours.

Design notes

Charcoal concrete provides a darker base for Burnished Persimmon. Matte stoneware keeps the planter simple, while ribbed terracotta continues the warm orange and earthy colour range.

Repeat the same colour for a fuller monochrome display, or combine several Cymbidium colours for more variation. Finish the planter with moss, river pebbles or pale stone around the base. A travertine tray can also be placed beneath the pot.
