Stock Flower — Ivory Lemon

This artificial stock flower comes in Ivory Lemon. Clusters of small open blooms rise along an upright stem, with grey green leaves near the base and between the flower heads. The stem is built from many smaller flowers, with soft natural looking petals, small buds that add extra detail, and lightly softened leaves that give the stem a more lifelike finish.

For a single stem, use a mini bud vase and keep the lowest flower cluster just above the rim. Position the stem upright or angle it slightly to one side for a clean vertical line. The branch can also be bent slightly by hand to open the shape further.

When using several stems, stagger their height and turn them in different directions to build a fuller column of colour. In a mixed arrangement, place the stock flowers through the front or middle front so the smaller clustered blooms can repeat the colour, lift the arrangement, and bring a point of detail among broader flower heads.

Design notes

Smoked olive glass gives Ivory Lemon a cooler translucent base. Hand thrown stoneware adds a grounded matte surface, while brushed brass brings out the warmth in the yellow tone.

Pair Ivory Lemon with chalk white, oyster or light ash. Buttermilk, primrose and pale straw continue the yellow range. Ink blue, forest green and deep graphite create stronger contrast.

Roses add broader layered blooms around the stock flowers. Hydrangea brings a fuller base through the lower section. Iris continues the upright direction, while Phalaenopsis orchids introduce wider open flowers between the smaller clusters.
