Malus Crabapple — Orchard Carmine

This artificial Malus Crabapple comes in Orchard Carmine. Round crabapples sit in mixed clusters along branching stems, with dark leaves placed between the fruit. The fruit varies in size, giving the branch a more natural shape.

For a single stem, use a slim vase with a narrow opening and keep the lowest fruit clusters above the rim. Leave space around the upper branches so the fruit and smaller stems can move in the breeze.

You can also cut and reshape one stem into several shorter branches, then arrange them in a small vase to create a compact tree form. Turn some fruit clusters towards the front and direct the smaller side branches towards the edges.

When using several stems on their own, vary their height and direction to form a fuller fruiting branch display. In a mixed arrangement, place the Malus through the middle or back and allow the upper branches to extend beyond the main flower heads.

Design notes:

A tall clear glass apothecary vase around 40 to 55 cm high shows the long stems and branching structure. A matte black ceramic vase around 30 to 40 cm high provides a darker base for the carmine fruit.

Pair Orchard Carmine with stone grey, chalk white or warm taupe. Terracotta, coral and soft blush continue the warmer red range. Deep evergreen, midnight blue and charcoal provide stronger contrast.

Calla lilies add a clean trumpet shape between the branches. Roses can sit lower in the arrangement with broader layered blooms, while peonies add larger rounded flower heads through the centre.
