Harvest botanicals
Natural Nigella forms the core, pale papery pods with fine ribbing that read like small lanterns. Feather reed grass in its undyed tone rises in straw coloured arcs, adding height and a clean directional line. Melaleuca bracteata in deep red threads through in clustered sprigs, bringing concentrated warmth and contrast.
The palette sits between oat, parchment and straw, then turns richer where the red bracts collect, ember, brick and dried berry tones against the neutrals. Texture is clear at a glance, grass blades as fine lines, Nigella as rounded pods, Melaleuca as tight clusters.

Layered meanings
Nigella, often called love in a mist, is linked with tender attachment and a sense of something precious held within. In a piece named Autumn Saffron, it reads as affection that deepens with time, not a passing spark.

Metal and finish
The brooch backing and fittings are crafted from a copper foundation with gold colour retention plating. You can choose between two finishes, a light gold tone or a white gold tone , each selected to echo the caramel and cream shades of the bloom. The plating refines the surface and colour but is not solid gold, keeping the piece light on the garment while still intended for regular wear with suitable care.
