Dracaena Spray — Golden Green

This artificial dracaena comes in Golden Green, with deep green centres, yellow margins and fine lengthwise stripes running through its long, pointed leaves. The leaves gather in close layers around the stem. Upright tips rise through the centre, while the outer leaves curve outwards and down. Slight turns in the leaves reveal different parts of the striped surfaces.

Display one stem in a small planter, keeping the lowest leaves just above the rim. Turn the stem so the longer leaves have room to extend beyond the sides of the pot.

The layered foliage forms a complete display on its own. It can also sit beneath or between flowers, with the pointed leaves extending around the broader blooms.

Dimensions (indicative)
Overall length: ~60 cm (stem to tip)
Maximum foliage spread: ~33 cm (overall width with the leaves fully spread)

Design notes

A rounded chalk white ceramic pot shows the yellow and green stripes clearly. A wide terracotta planter gives grouped stems room to spread, while a charcoal planter gives the foliage a darker base.

Pair Golden Green with ivory, sand or warm grey. Moss, olive and forest green continue the foliage colours through the display. Muted terracotta, rust and chocolate brown add warmer tones around the leaves.

For a miniature garden, group several stems in one planter, with one set higher and the others facing out towards the sides. Cover the support with artificial moss, allowing small patches to reach the rim. Leave some moss visible between the stems so the planting has both low ground cover and taller foliage.

For naturalistic wedding floor arrangements and commercial displays, place the dracaena around the base of taller flowers or branches. Let the outer leaves extend over the edge to soften the outline and help conceal the support beneath. Repeat small groups along a ceremony backdrop or around a display plinth, leaving breaks between them.
