English Rosette-Style Rose with Bud — Chiffon Pink

This artificial rose comes in Chiffon Pink, which has rosette romance. It opens into a broad English rosette, with wider petals around the outside and smaller petals clustered more tightly near the centre. A small bud sits beside the main bloom, placing an earlier stage of flowering next to the open rosette.

For a single stem, place it in a narrow neck vase and angle the main bloom slightly to one side. Let the bud sit above the outer petals rather than disappearing behind the flower. The large open rosette and smaller closed bud give the pale pink stem a sense of growth without requiring additional flowers.

When using several stems, turn the flower heads in different directions and vary their height by a small amount. Let the outer petals touch in places, but avoid pressing the centres together. Place the buds between the larger blooms and around the outer edge so the arrangement moves gradually from open flowers to tighter forms.

Pair Chiffon Pink with ivory, warm linen or pale stone. Blush, shell and soft peach continue the pink and peach range. Emerald, deep teal and charcoal create a darker contrast.

Classic roses can fill the spaces between the rosettes without changing the overall round shape. Hydrangea can sit beneath the main blooms and support a softer lower edge. Cymbidium orchids introduce smaller cupped flowers, while tulips extend the arrangement above the rounded rose heads.
