Strelitzia (Bird of Paradise) (Three Stems) — Porcelain White & Cobalt

A curated pack of three Strelitzia stems in Porcelain White & Cobalt. 

This artificial Bird of Paradise comes in Porcelain White and Cobalt. The bloom combines porcelain white blades with a warm undertone and cobalt and clear blue blades. Each blade has a cream shade at the tip.The bloom rises from a boat shaped spathe that shifts from lime to olive green, with a rose flush near the base.

Long pointed blades rise from one side of the spathe. The wired segmented stem can be curved by hand to adjust the angle and overall line of the flower.

A single stem suits a tall cylinder or floor vase. Two stems can be arranged as a pair in an entry display, while three create a fuller upright group.

Design notes:

A tall clear glass cylinder shows the full segmented stem and suits a single stem. Matte ivory ceramic picks up the porcelain white and works with one or two stems. Smoked blue glass or charcoal ceramic provides a darker base for the cobalt tips and suits a group of three. Vases around 45 to 70 cm high suit the length of the stems.

For a pale palette, combine Porcelain White and Cobalt with warm stone, chalk or pale olive. Midnight blue, deep green and charcoal provide a stronger contrast.

Roses add rounded flower shapes beside the pointed blades. Hydrangea adds volume around the base. Calla lilies introduce a longer curved form beside the angular Bird of Paradise bloom.
