Zen Lotus Bloom — Misty White

This artificial lotus bloom comes in Misty White. Layers of petals form a broad open cup. The outer petals rise around the flower, the middle layer shapes the inner cup, and the innermost petals gather around the centre. A fine ridged texture runs from the base to the tip of each petal, similar to the natural surface of a fresh lotus petal.

A raised green seed pod sits at the heart of the bloom, surrounded by yellow filaments, each tipped with a small saffron coloured node.

Use one stem in a low or medium height vase where the open flower can sit above the rim. Pair it with lotus buds, seed pods or broad lotus leaves for a fuller arrangement.

Design notes

A chalk porcelain vase gives the Misty White bloom a pale matte background. A smoked tea glass vessel places the flower against a darker translucent surface. A honed travertine vase introduces a warm stone finish beneath the bloom.

Pair Misty White with pearl, oat or warm stone for a neutral palette. Shell pink, blush and soft lilac continue the pale colour range. Bottle green, slate and ink provide stronger contrast.

A lotus bud introduces the closed stage of the flower. A lotus seed pod brings the centre of the lotus into a firmer rounded form. Broad lotus leaves can sit lower in the arrangement and separate the pale flower from the vessel.
